Our valued guests often ask about the differences between our 2, 3, and 4-day desert tours. Allow us to provide you with a concise explanation. Please refer to the figure below for clarity.

⇒ INTRODUCTION OF FES TO MERZOUGA TOUR ITINERARY:

Morocco Sahara Tour departs either from Marrakech or Fez, and includes a night on the half route in the Sahara Desert (1 night or 2 nights) and end wherever you want, Fez or Marrakesh. Furthermore, the total distance from Marrakech back to Marrakech is 1124 kilometers and for Marrakech to Fez is 1033 kilometers.

  • 2 Day Sahara Desert Tour: Enjoy an overnight stay in the mesmerizing Merzouga Desert. Please note that due to a 14-hour drive and weather conditions, you may not have the opportunity to witness the enchanting sunset, starry sky, and sunrise.
  • 3 Day Sahara Desert Tour: Embark on a memorable journey from either Fez or Marrakech. The first night will be spent in Dades Canyon, a perfect midway stop to appreciate more of the surroundings and break up the long journey. The following night is in the desert. Although the Erg Chebbi dunes may not be visible until 5 pm therefore, this 3-day tour allows for one night in the desert, providing approximately 14 hours to stay at a desert camp. If weather conditions permit, you can witness a breathtaking sunset, gaze at the starry sky, and behold an awe-inspiring sunrise.

➠ DISADVANTAGES OF FES DESERT TOURS 2 DAYS:

  1. Limited stops, fewer photo opportunities, insufficient time to savor the sunset due to late afternoon arrival. Nevertheless, ample time to gaze at the starry sky and catch the sunrise (weather permitting). Departure will be earlier the next day.

⇒ DISADVANTAGES OF FES DESERT TOURS 3 DAYS:

  1. Embark on a 14-hour round tour for a unique opportunity to witness the mesmerizing sunset, starry sky, and sunrise, rivaling the experience of a 2-day desert excursion. However, unfavorable weather conditions may cause this spectacle to be missed.
  2. Enjoy 7 hours of rest, 4-5 hours of daylight, and nighttime during the 14-hour tour. Experience brief breaks to explore kasbahs, Oases, and capture memorable photos.

⇒ ADVANTAGES OF FES DESERT TOURS 4 DAYS:

  1. Immerse yourself in the Sahara Desert with this 4-day desert tour. Enjoy a full day in the desert, allowing ample time to explore its depths in comfort.
  2. In case of cloudy weather on the first day, don’t worry; there’s an extra day to witness the sunset, starry sky, and sunrise.
  3. 4-day desert tour includes 2 nights, with one night in a desert camp and the other in a Riad/Hotel. If you prefer two nights in the camp, please inform us during booking.
  4. Experience the nomadic Berber culture and lifestyle for over 24 hours, while also having free time to relax, capture stunning photos of the dunes, try Sand-Boarding, embark on a Camel ride, or enjoy a thrilling Dune Buggy or Quad Bike adventure.

➠ SUMMER MARRAKECH HOLIDAY ARRANGEMENT:

Escape to the desert’s embrace between June and mid-August, when temperatures reach a sizzling 37-44 degrees Celsius. To make the most of your experience while ensuring your comfort, we highly recommend our specially curated 3-day/2-night desert tours during this period.

➢ How to book a Tour with Us:

To get your booking confirmed for the 2 days Fes Desert Trip, a deposit is required and can be done easily and securely over PayPal. Regardless of the remaining balance is to be settled in cash, upon meeting your driver at the airport or accommodation. Besides, the currency EURO, USD, CAD and MAD are both acceptable.

➢ Is it possible to pay the total amount with credit card or PayPal?

Kindly note that we do not accept credit card payments due to excessive fees and security risks. While we prefer cash for the remaining balance, we can make exceptions in certain cases for PayPal payments. However, please note that a 5% fee will be added to cover additional transaction charges. If you opt for this method, it is advisable to arrange payment prior to your trip to Morocco.

Awesome Experience for an Amazing 2-Days Trip to Morocco Desert

My friend and I travelled for 2 weeks around Morocco; we chose to do the 2-day desert tour from Fes with MTT. Our driver and the tour guides were very knowledgeable and helpful. We did a private tour. They met us at the accommodation and took good care of us the entire trip. All in all, it was a tremendous experience and I would recommend Morocco Tabiarte Tours again. We are planning our next holiday to Morocco and also plan to use them again as well!
