Day 01 : Arrival in Errachidia airport

The driver/guide will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your accommodation in Merzouga village.

Day 02 : Merzouga 4×4 tour > Khamlia village > Visit Nomadic tribes

Today we will drive around the desert to discover unexplored places in Erg chebbi desert. on our way to the desert villages ( Ex : khamlia, Merdani, Mifis). we might meet some locals with different desert animals ( Ex : Goats, Camels, Foxes,… etc), as well as some desert reptiles and mammals. our first stop is in the khamlia village in a traditional home built of thick earthen bricks made from a mixture of clay to enjoy the live Gnaoua music which is played by the locals.

Set off to another sight in some mountains near the dunes for a panoramic view of the sand dunes and also from where you can start seeing the border between Morocco and Algeria. Later we will continue driving toward the old berber villages and some nomad families where we will be hospitably welcomed with a cup of mint tea while enjoying the silence of the desert. at this moment we drive back to Khamlia village where we will have lunch in a local restaurant ( berber nomad pizza ).

After lunch we will continue to visit Yasmina lake which will be the last spot before camel trekking. afterwards there is an hour for you to experience camel ride and spectate the beautiful sunset while riding camel heading to camp oasis where are the luxurious tents that you will stay there overnight. as you watch the sunset in style heading to the oasis where a camp is located. Spending a night living by traditional nomadic tents inside or sleeping under spectacular starry sky outside of the tent at Merzouga desert dunes that will give you remarkable memory in the desert trip exploring. You can also spend your night playing drums with the experienced camel guide.

Day 03 : Merzouga > Todra gorge > Ait Ben Haddou > High atlas mountain > Marrakech

After breakfast, we’ll depart for tinghir and Todra gorge «The highest and narrowest conyon in Morocco ». Here you’ll have the opportunity to hike along its valley. Later we continue driving through the Boumalne Dades towards Kalaat M’gouna and ouarzazate. Afterwards, we will stop at a beautiful panoramic view of roses valley in Kalaat M’gouna then continue the road to Ouarzazate ” Africa Hollywood “.

Lunch will be at the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, it’s the granted UNESCO world heritage listing, the site has been the setting for many films including the Lawrence of Arabia and Gladiator. thus our wonderful journey will continue through the majestic Tizi N’Tichka ( 2260m altitude ) over the High Atlas Mountains where you can stop also to take cool shots for the panoramic views of the atlas mountains. After that, we will take a break at a Berber restaurant for a cup of tea before arriving at your accommodation in Marrakesh where our 3 day morocco desert tour end. Drop off into your hotel.
